Don’t Dream It—Do It!
There’s no time like the present to reach into your FuckBucketList and start making some of those sexual fantasies come true. Seriously, as long as you’re safe, what are you waiting for?!?
I can’t count the people I’ve heard proclaim, after having scarfed back a few drinks whilst in the company of friends, “I regret not having more sex when I was younger!” And these are people in their 30s! Plenty of time! Except for regrets.
Group sex, same-sex, voyeur-sex—whatever you fancy, it’s out there, and the easiest way to go about finding it is through an online dating site.
How many times have you been on a dating site and seen so many others offering or seeking exactly what it is you fantasize about? That means two things, 1) you’re not alone and 2) it’s waiting for you. It’s true that your fantasy might ultimately end up being less than you imagined it would be. But perhaps it will be more. Wouldn’t you like to know?
Sometimes there’s a deeply rooted guilt factor at play: “If I hook up just to satisfy my sexual fantasies, that’ll make me a slut.” Well, you gotta get over that. Best to shed your inner-Catholic and think instead, “If I hook up just to satisfy my sexual fantasies, I’ll have the kind of sex others only wish for!”
There’s actually less stress involved when hooking up specifically for sex, especially if you’ve both determined ahead of time what it is you’re after. With less preamble scrutinizing whether or not you might wanna spend the rest of your life with this person, that extra energy can be better spent focusing solely on making a wish come true.
Besides, no one’s saying that hooking up for casual sex will turn you into a fiend. Some people end up loving it, and become more sexually confident—and satisfied—than they ever were before. But that doesn’t have to be you. You might be one of many who snag a certain fantasy experience, cross it off the list, and move on, happy to remember it whenever you want a quick glow.
You can be picky. You can choose the playing field. You can make your own rules.
But for goodness sake, don’t regret having missed out on the game.
